I Love You Anyway.

It can be infuriating, watching you twist and turn this way and that, until I cannot even tell which way is up. I don't even see it happen, I just feel it. Your entanglement of me is so extreme that you find yourself in positions that neither of us would ever imagine.

So often I will come to the ultimate point of exasperation, swearing that I will toss you aside without a care. I don't, and I won't, and it only upsets me more. I will help you get back to where you were... where WE were, and we will go on. Even if it is only until the next time you are upside-down, or sideways, or diagonal.

Someday I'll invent a blanket that is affixed to each corner of the mattress.
