Sinister Ninja aka Sinja- a hilarious, handsome, well-endowed, romantic, witty, charming, talented, accomplished, professional, highly decorated, honorable, loyal, courageous, athletic, suitably when justifiably violent, mischievous, mature, immature, humble when necessary, curious, apathetic, paranoid, laid back narcissistic dipshit highest genius who has a surprisingly low opinion of himself despite his obvious awesomeness and occasional kickassery.
Layout- My layout was originally created by Christine a couple years ago. It was originally a two column format, that I somewhat recently switched to three columns, thanks to Deirdre. She did all the work, because I don't know how. She also retrieved the code to make my original template again, back when my blog had been deleted. I love my layout, and I owe these two wonderful ladies a lot!
Header- This was created by Deanna years ago, when I was playing around a little bit with creating my own. A friend had made me one that didn't really match my blog, and then Deanna created this one, matching the background and stuff. I think it's freakin' awesome, and if there is one thing you can count on with this blog, it's that it will have that header. Just below the graphic is my little sub-header, that I try to put a little comment or something every time I post.
Entries- So here's the deal with my blog, and with me in general. It is the same hypocritical conundrum that plagues every person to some degree, and certainly every writer. I'm confident but self-conscious. I guess the difference with me is that I do not hide from that fact, but enjoy walking its boundary. I write a lot of awesome shit here, from short stories to sociopolitical commentary, poetry to personal philosophies, and even typical weblog/diary type entries. Sometimes I just bitch and moan. I think what's made my blog so popular is that it's such an accurate window into my mind.
What's kept it going, and I will admit this with only a trace of embarrassment, is the popularity it's received. I would never have stuck with this without all the wonderful feedback I've gotten over the years, through comments, tags, contact forms, friendships, etc. The things I write that seem the most serious, the most "writery," as I like to say, is definitely what I'm most self-conscious about. It's feedback on these entries that I find the most rewarding, and I'm a total compliment-whore.
I've had people tell me over the years that they're afraid to comment on things like that, or that they're too intimidated. "Who am I to comment on this?" I'm not making this up, and I promise I'm not saying this to sound cool or anything. I love every character of every word of every piece of feedback I get, so I tell you with utter honesty: Tell me whatever you want. Whatever an entry makes you feel, or think. Does it make you mad? Happy? Sad? Do you think it sucks? Was I trying too hard? Was it... good? Bad?
I've found my blog (and myself) the topic of numerous dramas, both online and off, and I love that too. This blog has truly lived up to it's name- Battle Ready. It's been the face and outlet of all kinds of confrontation, and it is better because of it. I talk shit, sure, but I'll always back it up, and I expect the same of anyone else. I hope you enjoy my crappy, awesome entries as much as I enjoy making them, and I hope you tell me about it every step of the way.
Well that wraps up this little series! You're now an expert on my crappy, awesome blog. Happy blogging!
"Okay okay okay. Here's the thing.. Sinja's alarm clock is the entire Master of Puppets album. He doesn't wake up until the last note is played. And after that, Sinja eats a bowl of razorblades and Wild Turkey. Washed down with an ice cold glass of lava. Sinja defies physical properties."- TheSarge
