Sinister Ninja aka Sinja- a hilarious, handsome, well-endowed, romantic, witty, charming, talented, accomplished, professional, highly decorated, honorable, loyal, courageous, athletic, suitably when justifiably violent, mischievous, mature, immature, humble when necessary, curious, apathetic, paranoid, laid back narcissistic dipshit highest genius who has a surprisingly low opinion of himself despite his obvious awesomeness and occasional kickassery.

Things are going pretty good for me at the moment. Though I am currently majoring in History, and I enjoy that just fine, starting next quarter I will be majoring in English with possible minors in Journalism and maybe even History. The English major is for my career goal of becoming an English teacher and probably professor, and there are a few reasons for the Journalism emphasis.
The first is what got me to this frame of mind on it, and it was during a student presentation during a class project in my Student Success course. The topic of the presentation was the school newspaper, and though I'd briefly considered getting involved with it before, this started to really pique my interest. During the presentation I learned that in order to write for the school paper, you needed to be enrolled in at least one Journalism course, and I think that's a pretty reasonable request and guideline.
As I considered it more, I started to think about the benefits in my chosen profession, and in my life in general. Yes, I'd like to write for the school paper, but I'd also like to pursue writing part-time throughout my life, possibly contributing to newspapers, professional blogging (if there is such a thing), or even becoming a novelist. If none of those things pan out, I think it would at least be helpful in my career as an English teacher to be experience in different aspects of the English language- writing, reading, presenting the different forms. This seems like a win-win-win-win situation, if you'll allow me that statement. I'm pretty excited about it!
So, for the faithful readers of this awesome, crappy blog, you may get to see some more of me yet. I turned in my student loan paperwork today, and in a week or so I expect to be the proud new owner of some various equipment to help in all manners of my life, including a printer/scanner contraption, among others. Who knows, you may soon see an image of my article(s) on this very blog, forever subjecting it to the random and anonymous criticism of those who see fit. Let's keep our fingers crossed!
"Okay okay okay. Here's the thing.. Sinja's alarm clock is the entire Master of Puppets album. He doesn't wake up until the last note is played. And after that, Sinja eats a bowl of razorblades and Wild Turkey. Washed down with an ice cold glass of lava. Sinja defies physical properties."- TheSarge
